You get their first month's subscription — paid to you in three equal installments, in months 3, 4 and 5. No cap, no limit on how many you send, and you do not have to be a customer to take part.
What it pays, worked out
The payout is the plan they land on, whichever that turns out to be — so referring a 4,000-member association is worth four times referring a small club, without you having to negotiate anything.

Who can refer
Anyone. Customers, board members who have moved on, bookkeepers, web designers, association managers, and people who simply know somebody drowning in a spreadsheet. You do not need to be a GatherAMS customer.
When it is recorded
The day you submit the form. It does not depend on them mentioning your name, clicking a tracked link, or applying within some window — all three of which are ways referral programs quietly fail to pay.
Why months 3, 4, 5
Because it is paid out of a subscription that has proven itself. If the organization leaves in month two there was no revenue to share, and we would rather say that here than write it in a footnote after you have sent us four.
How it is paid
By bank transfer or cheque, in three equal installments, on the same schedule as their billing. If you would rather take it as credit against your own subscription, say so and we will do that instead.
What is not paid
An organization already talking to us, or one that has applied in the last 90 days. We will tell you straight away if that is the case rather than accepting the referral and going quiet.
If we change the terms
A referral is paid on the terms published the day you submitted it. Changing this page does not reach back and re-price something you have already sent us.
